We observe, listen and assess children in our care and record their achievements and progress in each area of learning in their personal Learning Journey folder. These help us to identify individual development needs and to plan activities to stimulate and move children forward.
We believe that parents and carers are a child’s first educator and therefore work closely to ensure they are involved in what we do with their child within the setting. We regularly ask parents to update us on their child’s current interests and developments at home so that we can tailor our planning to meet your child’s individual preferences.
Parents are also invited to attend Parent Evenings to give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress in more detail.
