Butterfly Pre-School Room - 3 to 5 years

Our Butterfly Pre-school Room is led by a qualified Early Years Teacher (level 6) and our manger is also a qualified Teacher. We put emphasis on play and having fun whilst teaching and developing the fundamental skills your child needs to succeed at school including phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. 

Children experience playing and socialising in a slightly larger group of children encouraging each child to develop their independence and social skills through a varied and stimulating programme of carefully selected activities and resources. Children have free flow access to our computer suite and their own dedicated messy and creative room, enhancing their skills in all areas of the curriculum.

Our well planned and resourced curriculum ensures that your child’s learning is moved forward and provides opportunities for all children to succeed in an atmosphere of care and feeling valued. Our aim is for all children to gain the confidence, skills and enthusiasm for learning in preparation for their transition into school. There is structure to the daily routine with focused learning on phonics and numbers, preparing children to write and develop mathematics.
