Session Times
Shanklin Day Nursery is open from 7.30am – 6.00pm all year round five days a week, with the exception of bank holidays.
We are flexible and if you would like extended sessions, they are available by special arrangement only.
If your child attends nursery on a part time basis the session times are:
- Full Day: 7.30am – 6.00pm
- Part Day: 9.00am – 4.30pm *flexible 7.5 hour day*
We offer discounts to help parents whose child attends 5 full days per week, find out more by calling us on 0116 2704603.
We offer a sibling discount if you have more than 1 child at Shanklin Day Nursery:
- 2nd child booking where both are full days Monday to Friday (5% discount on eldest child fees)
If your child receives a sibling discount, once your child is eligible for the government funded childcare we can no longer offer a sibling discount.
Before your child starts at nursery, you will be invited to come along for introductory settling in sessions prior to their start date, lasting usually between 1 and 2 hours. There is no charge for these sessions, and they give you and your child the opportunity to meet the staff in the room and discuss your child’s needs.
